I started this blog in May of 2016 to chronicle the highs & lows of going vegan! I was diagnosed with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever & couldn’t eat most meat. What a great time to try a vegan diet, right? I tried and tried but I still fail at being 100% perfect and I share my journey because I think there are plenty of imperfect people who give up 100%. I’m here to tell you that perfectionism is not a requirement to love yourself, to be compassionate to others, the animals, or the world, or to be a better family member or friend. I love you guys so much! I look forward to sharing more and hope to hear from you all some day!

The newest aspect to my blog is the work I intend to do with body positivity. I’ve been sick, I deal with chronic pain, and I’m obviously challenged with my weight issues. I will be writing posts of encouragement and how I’ve turned around my inner voice to be more body positive.
My family is my life. Yes, I have my hands full with these three. My husband also works in law enforcement plus I work full-time. I want to share our adventures with you and any tips or tricks I find to help you be more successful with making any lifestyle work. Batch cooking, smart purchases, and homemade items are just a few ways I hope to contribute!
